This is a fun anime. The story made me laugh more times than I can count, and it made me smile even more. The setup is hilarious, and overall it's just a well-written way to get me to laugh.
The art is clear, clean, and cute. I never found a scene that was unpleasant to look at. The sound is nice and high-quality with the voice acting and all-around ambient noise, which isn't too present.
The characters are my favorite part for sure, though. Miss Kobayashi is such a fun contrast to her cast of rather unbelievable characters, and I like even more how they all become like a family to someone who is very typically alone. It is heartwarming, sweet, and most of all, funny. I don't have quite as much to write about this one because it pretty much speaks for itself. It's like a nice cake. It has a bunch of high-quality materials to work with, and without missing a beat it uses a dash of creativity to make these materials something that can be enjoyed. I attribute its enjoyable nature to the creativity of KyoAni, and I think if the same materials were handed to someone else it wouldn't have been quite as good. Therefore, it is the intangible and unique influence of the particular people around this anime that made it what it is; a fun, laid-back, slice-of-life smile-fest.
